Our heart works hard for us. Foods that help lower cholesterol and blood pressure can help your heart pump up the volume on life! My heart is especially happy when recipes are easy and don’t cause me to want to give up and get take out. I’ve shared ten of my favorites, ranging from snacks to dinners to share!

We have used to food to show our love and care for one another. My mother would always bring me a snack (pre-snack allowed in school days) when she picked me up from school or made me a plate of cut up apples and cheese when I got home. It’s still a comforting snack, even when she’s not the one to make it for me. Putting time, effort, and love into the food we make can create a lasting impression of the feel goods. Do you have one of those friends who you just love going to their home for a meal or feel welcome each time you go? Maybe you are that friend! When the food is yummy, comforting, and healthy – that makes a difference too! Whether you’re making something for others, or yourself – make sure you’re sending lots of love with it! Be sure to let me know how you liked them – and share your favorite heart-healthy recipes too! Spread the love!
